On 10th September, the following post was made to the Hob Hey Wood Friends Group Facebook page by Karen Jackson:
"Hi all. I just wanted to say what a great job you are doing and to thank you from myself and fellow horse riders. I have used the bridleway for many years and in that time I have often had to pay a visit with my saw to trim back the over grown paths to make it possible for us to pass through (but there really was only so much a girl could do with a little saw). We don’t have many bridleway anymore and at times we’ve avoided using hob hey wood especially when the brambles are in force in the summer or the paths are so over grown we can’t get through. This year we have noticed so much difference and then saw your sign about Friends of Hobhey wood and realised it was because of you guys. Big thumbs up and a very big thank you. 📷👍🏼"
It is great to see that the ongoing improvements made by Frodsham Town Council and the friends group are being noticed and appreciated, thank you Karen!
We are going to continue to work on the five year management plan, so more improvements should be noticeable soon!
